Edwards Student Housing Management Company Goes Portfolio-Wide with Communiqué!
EXCITING NEWS: Communiqué, the leading provider of enhanced resident communication services, is providing a state-of-the-art communication service, via a branded smartphone App and innovative web interface, to the entire portfolio of Edwards Student Housing Management Company properties. Edwards’ property management teams at each property can send texts, emails or push notifications directly to a resident’s smartphone via the Edwards Student Housing Mobile App, a mobile application developed and supported by Communiqué.
“The Millenial and Gen Z generations are glued to their smartphones,” Anne Perry, Director of Edwards Student Housing Management Company, said. “We liked the idea of giving them an App that they can always go to to see important community news and updates. Emails and flyers just don’t get student residents engaged anymore – everything is on the phone.”
Edwards Student Housing, a division of Edwards Companies based in Columbus, Ohio, manages over 7,000 beds in eight states throughout the U.S. Edwards communities offer state-of-the-art fitness centers, movie theaters, entertainment, and pools. The company specializes in individual leases for fully furnished apartments that include private bedroom and bathroom combinations. The state-of-the-art smartphone App, powered by Communiqué, will be branded as the Edwards Student Housing App and launches July 1.
Perry said the App and its communication service will be an added amenity for their portfolio of properties. “The App will serve as a one-stop shop for residents, providing them with all sorts of information right at their fingertips,” Perry said. “They’ll be able to pay rent, request service, accept renewal offers and even receive package notifications. It will also allow my staff to push out community news and info to not only student residents, but parents who wish to stay updated as well.”
