A Greensboro-based student housing community outfitted with the Communiqué App and its communication services was honored as the Student Community of the Year at the 2016 Piedmont Triad Apartment Association’s Diamond Awards!

Collegiate Commons, a Preiss Company property and a user of the Communiqué communication service since 2016, received the coveted award at the annual event. Collegiate Commons keeps residents updated at all times through the Preiss smartphone App. The community’s property management team can send out a text, email and App notification – all at once – through the Preiss App or Communiqué’s easy-to-use desktop interface. Having a reliable and effective communication service to keep residents in-the-know contributes to a community’s success and ultimate well-being.

One of the things we really liked about the Communiqué App is not only could they brand an App for us, but they were also able to provide consistent and ongoing support for our ever-growing portfolio,” Adam Byrley, Executive Vice-President of Student Housing for the Preiss Company, said.

Betsy Jenswold, Property Manager of Collegiate Commons, said the Communiqué App has been “out-of-this-world wonderful.” “It gives our office the opportunity to inform residents very quickly of anything that is happening in our community—we can even do this from our cell phones when we are not on the property. No more paper communication!”

Each year, the PTAA Board of Directors asks members to nominate apartment industry professionals and communities for a Diamond Award in the following categories. The Diamond Awards are bestowed only on those professionals and communities judged by a panel of industry experts to be the best in the Piedmont Triad.

Communiqué is proud to be the official communication provider of this award-winning community!
